DESCRIPTION:Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Conference is organised by the Unified Association of Campaign Against Suicide (UACAS) to commemorate September 10 World Suicide Prevention Day 2023 in Lugbe\, Abuja (Sept. 4\, 2023)\, NSUK\, Nasarawa State (Sept.5\, 2023) and Emir of Suleja’s Palace\, Suleja\, Niger State (Sept. 6\, 2023)\, all in Nigeria\, West Africa\, Africa.\n\nAlso\, 7th and 8th September is cycling in Abuja Airport Road and AYA\, Asokoro\n9th September (4pm to 6pm): suicide survivors sharing their stories of how they overcome the adversity.\n\nSeptember 10\, 2023.\nPART A: Time: 11am to 12:30pm: Press conference at UACAS Abuja Office\nPART B: Time: 6pm to 7pm: Candle light procession\nPART C: Time: 8PM. Return Home and light a candle by your window side as recognised by IASP. It is an act of acknowledgement demonstrating support for Suicide Prevention\, to remember a lost loved one\, and for the survivors of suicide.\n\nThe goal of this event is to provide participants and general public (recorded videos and audios) with knowledge of warning signs of suicide\, declining mental health\, depression\, emotional issues and difficult situations.\n\nThe rate of suicide in our today’s society cannot be overemphasised therefore\, this campaign has become even more imperative in Nigeria and Africa at large
