DESCRIPTION:IASP’s virtual cycling event\, Cycle Around the Globe\, returns for the 10th consecutive year\, to raise awareness of suicide prevention around the world and reduce the stigma around it. \nWorld Suicide Prevention Day\, Cycle Around the Globe\, aims to raise awareness of suicide prevention efforts around the world in the period surrounding World Suicide Prevention Day and works to support the work of the International Association for suicide prevention by promoting evidence-based actions to reduce the incidence of suicide and suicidal behavior. \nWe want our global community to engage with each other and come together to spread awareness of suicide prevention. \nBy encouraging understanding\, reaching out and sharing experiences\, we want to give people the confidence to take action. \nPreventing suicide requires all of us to become beacons to those who are suffering. \nThis year the initiative will be able to count on the support and presence of a special guest: Silvio Martinello\, professional cyclist\, five-time world champion and Olympic Champion in Atlanta\, who will speak at the opening of the event. \n  \nRegistration for the ride € 5.00\, with a T-shirt € 15.00\, in support of the De Leo Fund Onlus which offers human and psychological support to those who have lost a loved one suddenly and traumatic. \nYou can pay via PayPal by clicking the button below or directly on the morning of the ride at the desk when collecting your bibs.
